Havurot Committee

Purpose: This committee puts people with similar interests in contact with one another. Groups are formed as a way to build friendships within the Tikvat Israel community.

Activities: Collecting, processing, and organizing data provided by interested members. In the past, this has been a committee of one. The committee has a yearly meeting to introduce prospective Havurah members to each other and to give guidelines for Havurah organization and success. Once formed, each Havurah group plans activities based on the interests of its members.

Seeking New Members: This committee requires matchmaking and organizational skills. People interested in putting other people in contact with each other and organizing groups are asked to put their social skills to work for this committee.
