Boy ScoutsPurpose: Troop 1948 provides a complete Scouting experience in a Jewish context. We provide an environment in which Scouts of all levels of religious observance will be comfortable. The Troop is שומר שבת ו�›שרות (observes the Sabbath and the dietary laws) in all its activities so that all Jewish Scouts as well as other Saturday Sabbath observers can participate in, and benefit from, the Scouting program. Our Scouts represent a broad spectrum of religious observance and come from all parts of Montgomery County.
