Kadima
Kadima, for sixth, seventh, and eight graders, is specially designed for middle schoolers who will eventually move into the Synagogue's United Synagogue Youth (USY) programs and are ready to develop their leadership and social skills-skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. They are involved in community charity programs and begin their involvement in Jewish national organizations such as Seaboard Region and the United Synagogue Youth movement. They go to the movies; enjoy ice skating and bowling; and organize sleepovers, parties, and weekend retreats that provide opportunities for fun with their friends at Tikvat Israel. Kadima members also attend regional chapter and inter-chapter events with Jewish youth throughout the community.
