In an annual holiday tradition, the voices of Congregation Tikvat Israel will combine with the voices of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church for a Thanksgiving songfest, coordinated in part by TI Cantor Rochelle Helzner. The church takes its turn to host the 2008 songfest, which will be followed by refreshments in the church's social hall. SSPC is located at 580 University Blvd., Silver Spring, a few blocks west of the Piney Branch intersection.
