The Rabbi Search Committee at Tikvat Israel will be deciding soon on which candidates to invite to the synagogue to lead Shabbat services and to meet congregants over the course of a weekend. The committee will be scheduling the three to four visits on several of the following weekends and wanted the congregation to make note of these dates in order to fully participate when candidates are in shul: March 6-8, March 13-15, March 20-22, April 17-19 and April 24-26. The final schedule of visits is expected to be announced in the next two weeks. A congregational meeting will be scheduled in early May for a decision on the rabbi selection.
