Officers, Board Members Nominated for 2007.........posted Dec 10, 2006

With congregational approval, an energetic slate of officers and board members is set to take over the leadership of Tikvat Israel in 2007.

A slate of nominees will be presented to TI members at a congregational meeting at 7 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 17.

Officers proposed for two-year terms beginning in January are as follows:

• Ron Rabin, president
• Susan Apter, vice president
• Larry Gorban, vice president
• Jonathan Solomon, vice president
• Howard Dickenson, treasurer
• Jesse and Marian Kaiser, financial secretaries
• Vivian Liebenson, recording secretary
• Rob Kline, assistant recording secretary

Newly nominated to fill two-year terms on the board of directors are the following: Jeff Bernstein, Danny Bachman, Hillary Berman, Ellen Eisner, Helen Frank, Sam Freedenberg, Tony Freedman, Jay P. Goldman, Sara Harris, Josh Pollack and Phyllis Schwartz.

The slate of nominees was approved at a congregational meeting on Dec. 6.
