Melissa Apter, who graduated this month from Rockville High School, has published an article in The Washington Post that bears advice for parents of college-bound students.

Melissa's article, "There's More to School Than Academics," appeared in the Montgomery Weekly section of the newspaper on June 8. The article can be accessed here.

Melissa served as co-editor of The Rockville Rampage during her senior year. She will continue her journalism studies at University of Maryland College Park this fall.
