USY Chapter Elects Officers for New Year.........posted Jun 25, 2006

Tikvat Israel's much-improved United Synagogue Youth chapter elected new officers and a governing board on June 11.

Elected as chapter president is Hannah Bachman, daughter of Danny Bachman and Debby Berlyne.

The remaining officers and board positions will be filled as follows:

• Vice President/Religious Education: Jennie Berger, daughter of Arlene and Warren Berger;
• Tikkun Olam: Ilanna Newman, daughter of Beth and Michael Newman;
• Vice President/Membership/Kad: Allyson Freedman, daughter of Jamie and Tony Freedman;
• Vice President/Communications: Danielle Hersh, daughter of Angela and Joel Hersh;
• Ninth Grade Rep: Miriam Bachman, daughter of Danny Bachman and Debby Berlyne;
• Historian/Yearbook:
  • Rachel May, daughter of Marleen and Eliezer May
  • Amelie Joseph, daughter of Jeannie and Michael Joseph;
• Sports Co-Chairs:
  • Jeremy Ehrlich, son of Lisa and Damon Ehrlich
