Passover Food Drive.........posted Mar 6, 2006
Tikvat Israel's Social Action Committee will conduct a pre-Passover food drive on Sunday, April 2 from 9 a.m. until the beginning of the Cantor's Concert at 4:30 p.m. The food collected will be given to the Manna Food Center, a not-for-profit organization that strives to eliminate hunger in Montgomery County. Manna has identified the following items as foods they need most: breakfast cereal, canned meats/tuna fish, canned fruits and vegetables, baby formula/baby food, peanut butter, rice, beans, spaghetti sauce, pasta and shelf-stable milk. The donated food will be collected in Rabbi Gorin's office. |
