A Place of Prayer But Also of Play

Congregation Tikvat Israel has a well-established reputation for teaching children the importance of living a full, complete Jewish life. Now the synagogue is breaking new ground toward that end. The synagogue just added two new playgrounds - one in front of the shul and the other behind the education wing.

Rabbi Howard Gorin's development work made these possible - he solicited a generous $35,000 donation for one and provided a personal loan for the other.
