Young Congregant Wins Washington Jewish Week's Purim Art Contest.........posted Mar 5, 2009Sarah Meiselman, daughter of TI members Susan and David Meiselman of Rockville, is the winner of the 2009 Washington Jewish Week Purim art contest in the grades 4-6 category. Sarah, who just turned 12, is a student at the Hebrew Day Institute. Her winning drawing is on the cover of the March 5 issue of the weekly newspaper. Inside the issue, there is a photo of Sarah and her prize-winning work. The story does not appear in the online edition -- although a thumbnail-size image of the artwork appears in the contents listings on-line.
