Two Members Co-Star in New Film on Conservation Efforts at TI.........posted Sep 3, 2009

Two conservation-minded members of the Tikvat Israel community co-star in a short film just produced by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection.

Congregants Art Fabel and Harley Liebenson agreed about a year ago to appear in the video clip about efforts of Tikvat Israel to positively address climate issues on a local level.

Ansu John of county agency, in an annoucement, thanked Rabbi Gorin and the rest of Tikvat Israel Congregation, along with "cucumbers and light bulbs," for their respective roles in making the short movie "and taking part in saving our planet."

The streaming version of the video that was filmed at Tikvat Israel last summer. This video (not yet available as a DVD in any commercial outlet) will be linked from the website of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, which is under development now.
