Seven Congregants Nominated to Synagogue's Board in Critical Year.........posted Jan 10, 2012
Seven members, including five returnees, were nominated for board seats at TI's Congregational Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 10. The seven members will serve only if a quorum of congregants turns out to vote at a congregational meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The two first-time nominees are Martie Adelman and Sara Harris. The five incumbents who were nominated to serve another two-year term are Jay P. Goldman, Melanie Grishman, Rob Kline, Josh Pollack and Steve Raucher. The new board will serve during a year when Rabbi Howard Gorin retires after 32 years at the helm, leading this spring to an appointment of an interim rabbi followed a year later by a permanent rabbi appointment. |
