Gentle Yoga with Monya and Charlene
December 7 at 11:00 am
Flax Library
This gentle, restorative yoga therapy workshop invites participants to explore the intimate connection between the breath, the nervous system, and the mind within the structure of the third (mental) body. We begin with grounding and centering practices that awaken awareness of the breath as a stabilizing force for mental clarity and calm. A mindful chair yoga sequence follows, embodying the principle of Ahimsa (non-harming) to cultivate compassion and respect for the physical body through easeful movement. The session concludes with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra practice to integrate mind, body, and spirit—leaving participants feeling balanced, centered, and nourished from within.
Please wear comfortable clothing. This will be seated yoga. No additional equipment needed. Water and light healthy snacks will be provided.
