Special Dates!

Join Cantor Labovitz and our High Holy Day lay-daveners for an interactive, hands-on session to learn and practice the melodies that will shape our High Holiday services this year from Selichot to Ne’ilah. Whether you’ll spend Tishrei at the podium or in the pews, this is a chance to build familiarity, confidence, and a shared musical repertoire so we can usher in the New Year in communal harmony.

The first session will be on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 8:15 p.m. at Kehilat Pardes, led by Rabbi Avi Strausberg.

The second session will be on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 8:15 pm at TI and will be co-led Rabbis Uri Topolosky and Marc Israel.

Many hands make light work! No previous experience is needed, but screwdrivers (any type) and stepstools are welcome!

Sukkot is described as z’man simchateinu, the time of our joy. Join us in the Sukkah after Kiddush as we celebrate Sukkot with joyful song and melodies with and without words.

More information on the way. Come back for more details!

The morning of Hoshanah Rabbah is crazy – Hallel! Seven circuits! Willow-smacking! Liturgical twists and turns! It’s enough to work up an appetite – so join us for breakfast following the service at approximately 8:30 am.

What goes up, must come down. With the end of Sukkot, we need to put away the temporary dwelling on TI’s back patio. Join us on Sunday, October 11, 10:00 a.m. – we can use all the hands (and screwdrivers and stepladders) we can get!
