Members of the Cantor’s Assembly Seaboard Region, including Rochelle Helzner of Tikvat Israel (fourth from left), rehearsed Thursday for their upcoming concert on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 pm at Har Shalom. The concert, entitled, “A Journey Through S’farad,” is a musical voyage in preparation for the Cantor’s Assembly summer 2016 mission to Spain.

Cantors and their congregants will travel to Spain to delve into the past as well as to reach out to the Jewish communities of today. In addition to celebrating Sephardic culture and song, participants will visit museums and various cities.
