Atid-COLLAGEThe end of the school year is almost here. Our last day of school is on Sunday, May 22, 2016 starting at 9:00 am. The last day of school is for all students (K-6) and their families. Our day will consist of a community tefillah, some learning, a gallery walk, and an end of the year BBQ for everyone at the end of the day. Please be sure to join us!

Next Sunday (5/15), the ECC is having their annual Truck Touch event. This means that our parking lot will be completely blocked off. Class Updates:

Jerusalem (K/1) – Today in class we talked about different cities in Isreal and some fun fact about each city. We drew a map of  Israel and wrote the names of the cities on it. For snack, I brought in special Israeli snacks, bissili and wafels, for the class to try. We then talked about the different blessings we say over each food group.

Happy Mother’s Day and have a great week.

Haifa (2/3) – Today in class we concentrated on finishing the last couple of lessons in our Hebrew book. We focused on the letters Pay, Nun, and Final Nun. Students practiced reading words with the new sounds. We have also continued to practice our reading fluency. Next week we will finish out Hebrew book with our final letter Fey. I have been so proud of our students and all of the work they have been doing over the school year!

Happy Mother’s Day!
