Class Updates:
Jerusalem (K/1) – Today we continued to work on different blessing for different groups of food. Last week we talk about food that grows on trees and today we talked about food that grows from the ground, food that is made from wheat, and food that doesn’t fall into any other category. We made a beautiful poster board for each of the blessing. We also practice our recognition of the Alef-Bet.
Haifa (2/3) – Today in class we finished our Hebrew book! We completed the lesson for our last letter Fey! Our students have worked so hard over this year relearning the Hebrew alphabet and learning how to read and decode. I cannot believe how far they have come. I asked everyone if they wanted a set of flash cards to take home with them and practice over the summer, and they said yes! This class has been so committed to learning Hebrew this year, I am so proud of everything they have picked up.
