Shalom Atid Learning Center Families!As you are enjoying your summer, it’s time to start planning for a great school year at the Atid Learning Center of Tikvat Israel. We are looking forward to having your child(ren) be a part of our exciting school.
This year, in an effort to strengthen our program, we will be making some changes. We are changing the format and program days for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to give them a strong learning experience as well as helping them build a learning community of friends. All Atid Learning Center students will attend classes on Sunday mornings at Tikvat Israel. In addition, 4th – 6th graders will also attend classes on Wednesday afternoons at Tikvat Israel.
We are continuing our multi-grade classrooms which are set up based on proven educational models that provide increased academic and social cooperation with many opportunities for older and younger students to reinforce their learning and development. This will allow students with multiple skill levels to learn inside the same classroom and still receive individualized attention. Students at each grade level will be learning new, grade-appropriate material within in this multi-age environment, and not repeating what was learned last year. Classes will be K/1, 2/3 and 4/5/6th grades.
The format of the registration form has also changed. You will notice that you will need to fill in one form for each child you are enrolling. Please be sure to fill in each form completely, as emergency contacts and medical information will be given to each classroom teacher. Also, please take the time to review Tikvat Israel’s new behavior policy and tuition payment information on the form. (Contact the office for a form)
