Dear Families,
Happy Friday…Thanks Goodness It’s Shabbat!
This week we read the well known parsha (Torah portion) about Noah and his Ark. The Torah describes Noah as someone who walks with (heet-ha-lach) God. This is the only time in the Torah that this Hebrew word is used. Since God does not have a visible shape or form, discuss as a family, what do you imagine the Torah means when it says, “Noah walks with God?” What do you think God and Noah talked about?
One important lesson we learn from this parsha is our responsibility to help make the world better, what are somethings you and your family can do to make the world better and be like Noah and walk with God?
