Joe Crookston is a songwriter, guitarist, painter, fiddler, slide player, eco-village member and believer in all things possible. He will perform at Tikvat Israel October 21 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $18 in advance / $20 at the door.

Named 2016 Folk Alliance International Artist-in- Residence and signed to Tamulevich Artist Management along with John Gorka and Peter Yarrow. He’s played with Suzanne Vega, Dar Williams, David Francey, John McCutcheon, Judy Collins and 100 more. His songs are cinematic and are being made into award winning films.
The FOCUS event will be staged at Tikvat Israel; light refreshments will be available for purchase during intermission. Advance tickets are available through FOCUS’s website. FOCUS member pricing for tickets purchased at the door will be extended to Tikvat Israel members.
FOCUS is a non-profit organization whose mission “is to bring folk and acoustic music to a growing audience through performance, education and participation in the musical folk art.” Tikvat Israel and FOCUS have agreed to a partnership to bring folk music concerts to Tikvat Israel and the Montgomery County community.
