During a congregational meeting Dec. 15 at Tikvat Israel, Rabbi Marc Israel weighed in on a some proposed updates to the synagogue’s bylaws that will revise what constitutes membership and eligibility for voting in congressional elections. Members will vote on the full revisions at a congregational meeting in the shul’s sanctuary at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12. Board member Sherrie Krauser chairs the bylaws committee.
