Eighteen congregants gathered at Tikvat Israel at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening, May 27, 2022 to witness Rabbi Israel’s signing of an 8-year contract with Tikvat Israel. Those in attendance included contract committee members Larry Gorban, Betty Fishman and Marvin Waldman. The signing with congregation president Warren Berger was followed by a celebratory toast and light snacks and a spirited Kabbalat Shabbat service.
