In an annual outing run by the Women’s Network, 40 members of a Tikvat Israel contingent cheered on the Washington Nationals to a 9-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Fathers’ Day. The win on a comfortable day in the mid-70s, broke a week-long losing streak by the Nats. TI was recognized on the giant outfield scoreboard in the 5th inning.
