Atid Learning Center students filed into the synagogue’s sukkah on Sept. 27 with their freshly made artwork as adult volunteers at Tikvat Israel finished adding the s’chach, or roof, to the structure on the synagogue’s back patio.
The students then listened as Rachel Denrich and Limor Dahan explained the holiday, including the significance of the etrog and lulav, before hanging their artwork in the sukkah, which has been receiving a lot of use during the holiday week.
