Simchat Torah is next Tuesday, and it wraps up our fall holiday season with joy and celebration. Check out our Sukkot/Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah services guide for events leading up to the big celebration.
In searching for information, I came across Jewish Pathways, a project of aish.com that says of Simchat Torah: “A mainstay of this celebration is the singing of traditional songs — again and again, as we dance around the bima.” If you follow the link to Jewish Pathways, you will find mp3 files of 32 songs, if you want to brush up and be ready to sing. Be forewarned – the pronunciation is traditional Ashkenazi!)
So, what’s your favorite song? Vote in the poll, and add a comment if I’ve left out your personal favorite – only one vote per person (this isn’t Chicago!)
