Atid Learning Center Weekly Update May 3, 2017

Shalom Atid Families,

Chag Yom Haatzma’ut Sameach!
Happy Israel Independence Day!

Sunday, we celebrated by wearing kachol v’ lavan, blue and white, the colors of the Israeli flag.  At the end of the morning our classes joined together outside for a mini Israeli picnic with hummus and pita chips and blue and white marshmallows from Israel (thank you Meirav).  We listened to Nadav Guedj, an Israeli, sing “Golden Boy” as he represented Israel at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Afterward, we learned the dance Havah Nagilah.
