Five members of Tikvat Israel who were elected in December to the synagogue’s board of directors will be formally installed by the clergy during Shabbat morning services on Jan. 16.
Two of the five are board newcomers — Michael Amster and Rabbi Alana Suskin. The other three who will serve two-year terms are incumbents who ran successfully for service on the shul’s governing body — Michele Eisenberg, Jay P. Goldman and Kelcey Klass.
A kiddush in their honor will follow services in the social hall.
Their board terms run until December 2017.
