At its Monday night meeting (August 24, 2015), the Tikvat Israel Board of Directors formally welcomed Rabbi Ben Shull to his first board session. The board heard a report on the new education program, the synagogue’s High Holiday plans (including a new form of family service) and a status check on roof repairs as part of the ongoing capital improvement plan. Board members also previewed a colorful membership brochure crafted by the newly established marketing committee.
The TI board next meets at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, in Flax Library. Any interested congregant may attend.
