Several dozen bags of food were donated by those attending the annual Cantor’s Concert at Tikvat Israel on June 7. The collection was organized by the Social Action Committee, and the food will be delivered to Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg. Joan Margolies (right) was one of the many who dropped off a bag to committee members, from left, Robbi Cohen, Debby Berlyne and Elyse Bernstein. The Social Action Committee collected about 35 bags of food, and $110 in cash and checks as donations to Manna Food.
