Members of Tikvat Israel re-elected Melanie Grishman to serve another two-year term as synagogue president and voted into office a full slate of officers and board members at a congregational meeting on Jan. 8.
All will be formally installed by the clergy at Shabbat morning services on Jan. 21. They will serve until January 2019.
Elected to office by voice vote by a quorum of Tikvat Israel members were the following: Melanie Grishman, president; Warren Berger, vice president for administration; Ellen Kaminow, vice president for youth and family; Jim Perlmutter, vice president for programming; Stuart Lempert, treasurer; Debby Berlyne, recording secretary; Eugene Sheskin, financial secretary; and Alan Apter, Dalit Baranoff, Michael Cohen, Sally Kram and Fran Tropp, board members.
Leaving the shul’s board were Irv Cohen, Helen Raucher, Steve Raucher and Lis Schwartz.
Four members were voted to serve on the governing body of the TI Fund for the Future: Irv Cohen, Harold Diamond, Louis Leibowitz and Steve Raucher. The fund collects and manages synagogue investments for the long-term health of the shul.
