Good Deeds Day attracted 40 participants from Tikvat Israel, including these young members (pictured on the left), to a cleanup project at nearby Rock Creek Park on April 29. They filled 14 bags of trash, 13 bags of recyclable waste, two rubber tires, a traffic cone and wire fencing. A few volunteers stumbled upon an abandoned washing machine up on a hill. “Needless to say, we are reporting that one to the parks department,” said Luisa Moss, TI’s coordinator for Good Deeds Day.
