Harpist Lily Neill’s original compositions-alongside her dynamic mixture of Irish jigs and reels, Lithuanian dances, Finnish tangos and American Ragtime-have enthralled audiences around the world. Lily’s revolutionary style of harp playing has earned her many accolades, with Irish Music Magazine crowning her, “…part of the new Harp revolution extolling aspects of harp music never previously heard”. Put aside everything you ever thought you knew about the harp and open your ears to the wealth of sound that two hands and thirty strings can conjure!The FOCUS event will be staged at Tikvat Israel; light refreshments will be available for purchase during intermission. FOCUS is a non-profit organization whose mission “is to bring folk and acoustic music to a growing audience through performance, education and participation in the musical folk art.” Tikvat Israel and FOCUS have agreed to a partnership to bring folk music concerts to Tikvat Israel and the Montgomery County community.
