About three dozen of Tikvat Israel’s most active volunteers were feted at a morning brunch featuring lox, cream cheese and bagels in the social hall on June 14.

President Melanie Grishman, in brief remarks, told the volunteers they were essential to everything special about the life of the synagogue. A list of volunteer opportunities at the synagogue will appear in the July-August issue of the synagogue’s newsletter.
