Tikvat Israel members Rebecca Salon, Jay P. Goldman, Sam Gilston and Jim and Maxine Perlmutter made the holidays a little sweeter for about two dozen residents at Potomac Valley Nursing and Wellness Center in Rockville. The five congregants led an annual High Holidays service on Sunday, Sept. 17, giving the residents and their family members a chance to hear the shofar and some of the traditional Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur melodies.
TI has provided monthly services at Potomac Valley for more than 30 years.
