Tikvat Israel’s Matthew Kaminow has been elected to the Seaboard Region’s USY executive board for 2016-17.
Kaminow, 17, son of Ellen and David Kaminow of Potomac, was elected by peers to serve as vice president for religious education at USY’s spring regional convention over Memorial Day weekend. The affair attracted more than 230 USY members and staff from across the Mid-Atlantic region.
TI’s Hannah Smith, daughter of Ellen and Jeff Smith of Rockville, completed a one-year term as president of the USY Seaboard Region at the May convention.
