Shabbat Kiddush to Honor Rabbi Abramson

   Tikvat Israel Congregation will collectively say thank you to Rabbi Abramson during a kiddush reception in his honor following Shabbat morning services on June 27. He has served as TI’s part-time rabbi for the past three years, and this will mark his final time leading Shabbat services.

Cantor Rochelle Helzner joined with a violinist, clarinetist and pianist from the New Orchestra of Washington during an hour-long performance of Yiddish and classical works at the annual Tikvat Israel Cantor’s Concert on June 7. Concert Goers Deliver for the Hungry

TI’s Budget Vote Set for June 28

Tikvat Israel members will be asked to approve the board of directors’ $1.64 million spending plan at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28. One of our ongoing mitzvah projects is to collect and donate toiletries. During your summer travels, please collect any unopened, unused toiletries from your hotel visits.
