Tikvat Israel volunteers delivered 32 bags filled with Passover foods to members of the community needing help to observe the holiday.
They took to the roads across Montgomery County on Sunday, April 2, in an annual holiday giving program run by the Jewish Social Service Agency and B’nai Brith. Moira and Leon Green serve as the synagogue’s coordinators each year.
The delivery crews this year were made up of Mike and Debbie Amster, Muriel Asher, Janice Balin, Bobbi Cohen, Marcelle Copaken, Ellen Eisner, Jay Goldman, Phil and Hope Kott and Hilda Springer.
