Delegate Anne Kaiser, who chairs the Ways and Means Committee in the Maryland House of Delegates, gave three dozen members of Tikvat Israel a preview of what to expect from the state legislature during its three-month session that begins in January. Kaiser, who has been a member of the synagogue since her birth, said she appreciated the annual speaking opportunity to discuss ways “to get involved if things are upsetting you on state and national levels … and I hope you will.” She spoke in the social hall on Dec. 3.
