Tikvat Israel will celebrate Purim again in style. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, March 20, with a family celebration that includes a Purim puppet production, songs accompanied by our own Eine Kleine Tikva band and a costume parade. The program in the social hall is expected to conclude at 7:15 p.m.
Maariv and a full Megillah reading will begin in the sanctuary at 7:20 p.m. followed by a musical revue, staged by Tikvat Israel’s most creative performers and script writers. It is titled “A Patriotic Purim.” Congregants are encouraged to wear costumes and bring tzedakah.
The Purim Carnival and Silent Auction will take place from 11:30 a.m. – 1: 30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 in the social hall with holiday food, games and prizes.
