Purim Tzedakah and Musical Theater Balloting at TI

Celebrate Purim and give tzedakah. Canisters will be available for your donations at Tikvat Israel.

 TI’s Tzedakah Chavurah will collect contributions of all sizes during each of our Purim festivities. Canisters will be available for your donations (checks or cash).

 In keeping with Cantor Helzner’s Broadway musical theme for Purim, the Tzedakah Chavurah will offer you the opportunity to give tzedakah and vote for your favorite show musicals. The musical choices pitted against each other for balloting are these:

The tzedakah collected during the holiday will be dispersed to the following non-profit groups: Chai Lifeline, Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, The Israel Association for Child Protection and Rockville Emergency Assistance Program.

David Gantz, who chairs the Tzedakah Chavurah, organizes this event yearly with the help of fellow committee members Hope Kott, Dan Jacobs, Robbie Cohen and Elyse Bernstein.
