Twelve Tikvat Israel congregants attended a Rosh Chodesh program June 6 at TI led by Rabbah Arlene Berger and sponsored by the Women’s Network. As we entered Sivan, the month we received the Torah, we were taught one of Rabbah Berger’s favorite Torah stories from the Zohar commentaries on Jewish mysticism that answers the following question: Why does the Torah begin with the letter Bet?
