Area Sisterhood groups convened at Har Shalom in Potomac on December 16 for a Torah fund dinner, and one of the TI representatives on hand was Bobbi Gorban. She is serving as the Seaboard Region’s Torah Fund vice president. The theme for the Torah fund’s special project for 2015-17 is “She Plants a Seed for the Future.” The project is raising money for future renovation of the Women’s League Sanctuary at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City and for providing funds to the students of the Ziegler School in California.
