Chai Dynamics a cappella group, a joint venture between Tikvat Israel and Shaare Torah in Gaithersburg, will be performing at the Strathmore Corridor Concert on May 7, 2017 at 3 p.m.
The Strathmore Corridor Concert series is designed to take music from the community back into the community. The concert will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 10309 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring.
Billed as “The Intersection of World & Jazz,” the concert will feature Rochelle Rice, jazz vocalist Strathmore Artist in Residence 2015, and current Strathmore Artists in Residence Joey Antico (percussion) and Ethan Foote (bass).
In addition to Chai Dynamics, the Strathmore World Jazz Choir, a multigenerational community choir, will perform.
Admission is free; donations are gladly accepted.
