TI’s Budget Vote Set for June 28

Tikvat Israel members will be asked to approve the board of directors’ $1.64 million spending plan at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.

The new budget supports two full-time staff positions (a full-time, permanent rabbi and a director of youth and family) and counts on the popularity of the synagogue’s early childhood program. The board adopted the budget on May 21.

The budget calls for a modest uptick in revenue, based on a recommended 10 percent membership dues increase in all three age categories and a substantial increase in tuition revenue from the Tikvat Israel ECC.
