Fifteen members of the Tikvat Israel Women’s Network gathered Sunday, July 31, at the home of Janice Balin in Rockville for pizza and planning of next year’s events. Rebecca Salon, co-president of the Sisterhood with Nancy Matheson, led the group. Among the new events discussed for next year were coloring, painting, a Shabbat dinner, and a social action event involving the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes. There are plans to continue the book club, Rosh Chodesh learning opportunities, and Women’s Network-sponsored Shabbat.
