Farm Fresh Produce (photo by Amy Matathias)

Beets, strawberries, mushrooms, rhubarb and lettuce were among the first offerings available to Tikvat Israel members who belong to the shul’s Community Supported Agriculture program.

Those not yet registered for the weekly produce pickups in the synagogue lobby each Monday afternoon can contact the farmer, Pam Stegall of the Calvert Farm in Cecil County, Md.

The 20-week season runs until Sept. 28. Dalit Baranoff is the coordinator at TI.
