Our Shavuot celebrations were as always inspiring and enjoyable! But I particularly wanted to wish a yasher koach to Cantor Helzner, Bonnie Cowan and Sue Meiselman, Jeff Smith and others who gave of their time to make the holiday special.
We very much enjoyed the Sunday night picnic on the patio, joyous singing, davening and presentation. All elements of our community were involved–the older members, the in-betweens and the teens and younger kids. Jeff Smith did a great job leading a learning session on mitzvot for our teens–not an easy task. Cantor Helzner made sure we sang songs that made our holiday observance more meaningful, and Bonnie and Sue provided the physical nourishment. Richard Lederman gave us food for thought in his presentation.
We look forward to more such celebrations at TI!
