Rabbi Benjamin Shull and Cantor Rochelle Helzner led a fun, lively and meaningful Shabbat experience for families with young children at Tikvat Israel. About 50 people attended the “Shabbat is Special Experience” on Friday evening, Nov. 13. After the service, the families enjoyed a sense of community and a delicious Shabbat dinner.
The dinner featured cookies baked by Tikvat Israel’s Bonim group and challah baked by the Early Childhood Center’s Arayot class. The photo shows the challah, wine, and flowers that adorned the table prior to the start of Shabbat.
